GABBA referees and table officials met on Monday at the new office. An interest participant was women's Technical Director Marcelo Zubiran who felt that meetings between referees and coaches would be beneficial for the game.
All officials took part in a self-analysis exercise, followed by a healthy discussion on man management, positioning on court and signalling.
GABBA President John Goncalves was full of praise for the work performed by the officials, without whose valuable contribution there would be no competitive basketball. He announced that a course leading to the Grade 3 license will be held on 27 April.
